The 2015 Quatrain (our flagship wine) is now available. This magnificent wine is made from four of the Bordeaux grape varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Each grape variety builds on the other, resulting in mouth filling flavours that go on and on.   $60 per bottle


The 2016 Pinot Noir was bottled just before Christmas 2016. It has cherry, strawberry and nutmeg flavours and is ideal with pork or duck or as a stand-alone drink.   $30 per bottle


The 2016 Chardonnay is a fruit driven wine with citrus and peach flavours. This wine was 10% barrel ferment and the grapes are 50% non-irrigated fruit using Penfolds 58 clone. Try this with flathead (if you can afford the fish!), barramundi or scallops.   $30 per bottle

The 2016 Pinot Gris was aged in older French oak barrels on lees giving the wine delicate creamy texture. It has beautiful pear, lychee and citrus flavours and is great with shellfish and chicken dishes.   $20 per bottle.

The 2005 Petit Verdot I kept half a pallet back to see how this wine would develop. 12 years later and it has matured magnificently. Only 12 dozen left so be quick. $80 per bottle. As a boutique Yarra Valley winery we are a proud members of the Yarra Valley Smaller Wineries Group. The group is made up of smaller family owned and run wineries with boutique cellar door venues. When visiting these wineries you can talk with the winemakers and their families and gain a real insight into the winemaking process. The smaller wineries hold their annual festival, the Shortest Lunch around the winter solstice. This great Yarra Valley wine festival will be held this year on the 24th and 25th of June. Each of the 16 participating cellar doors will have beautiful food matched to handcrafted Yarra Valley wines as well as most having live music both days.


Here At Miller’s Dixons Creek Estate, winemaker Graeme Miller is again cooking his own recipe of succulent beef, vegetable and bean soup with toasted ciabiatta bread. $15.

We have the Yarra Valley ravioli with caramalised onion, almond and goats cheese fresh from Colaneri’s Yarra Valley kitchen with chickpea and sweet potato salad. (V) $18.

For desert we have chocolate brownies with vanilla bean ice cream from the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie. $8. (delicious combined with our fortified).

Our musical performers for the weekend are Van and Cal Walker. Van Walker is a renowned Melbourne singer, songwriter who will be accompanied by his brother Cal to entertain and delight us with their up tempo acoustic music and harmony singing.
